One of Ibstock Brick’s shortlisted projects at the Brick Awards was 40 Beak Street, which received nominations for the Best Commercial Building and Best Craftsmanship categories.
The building, in the heart of Soho, was recently purchased by British artist Damien Hirst and will serve as his new flagship studio and art complex.
Beak Street is one of the most carefully crafted architectural buildings in London’s West End, making use of glazed bricks from the Ibstock range with its cutting-edge design ensuring the street-corner development will provide a striking architectural focal point for decades to come.
In this project, Ibstock Brick’s bespoke blend of glazed bricks were specified by Stiff & Trevillion Architects. There’s been some great feedback on social media. Read the full case study here.
